I often ask the same question. I’m a journalist, photographer and copywriter, primarily working in the entertainment technology sector. I’ve written for publications including Lighting and Sound International, Lighting and Sound America, Pro Sound News, Installation Europe, Auditoria, Theatres Magazine and others. Increasingly I find myself looking at the issues of climate change, sustainability and how new legislation might affect how this industry goes about its business.
In September I will start an MSc in Architecture: Sustainability in the Built Environment, which I hope to apply the knowledge I gain specifically to buildings that host entertainment of all kinds. This blog will hopefully allow me to publish research and share information with venues and consultants the world over.
